HOPE Host Home Program

Community Transitional Housing

The HOPE Host Home program connects compassionate community members who have extra space with migrant individuals or families in need of transitional housing for up to 90 days. Providing hosts with a stipend for financial support & dedicated case management for guests, the program ensures a safe and supportive environment for asylum seekers as they navigate life in America. Cultivating cultural connections, providing wrap-around services and resource navigation, this program facilitates integration and belonging for new migrants in a transformative journey toward fulfilling the American dream.

To register as a potential Host or Guest please dial 211 and Mile High United Way's resource navigators will conduct a 15 minute intake for our HOPE Host Home Program.

*With funding support, our Host Home program can be adapted to wide variety of populations in need of transitional housing including response to people struggling with recent job loss, veterans, people seeking local medical treatment, adults aged-out of foster care, & victims of natural disasters like floods and wildfires.

Asylum HOPE Sessions

Pro Se Asylum Support

Hope Has No Borders provides monthly defensive asylum support sessions in Spanish at various locations in Metro Denver. While we do not offer legal advice, we assist individuals in completing their pro se  asylum applications using technology for translation and form completion. Spanish-speaking volunteers are available to support participants through the process. We ensure that applications are correctly mailed to all locations and provide follow-up support, including guidance on address updates & information on future work authorization requests.  A $25 fee per application is required at the event to offset the cost of printing and postage.

We are actively seeking partnerships with organizations and churches to host these life-changing sessions. We are looking for partners who can provide space, coffee, snacks, paper, postage, and a willingness to assist those in need. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of asylum seekers in our community.

Community HOPE Services

Community Service Partnerships

Hope Has No Borders is dedicated to empowering newly arrived migrants in Colorado through community service projects. This program not only provides donation-based gifts as a token of appreciation for volunteerism, but also offers valuable real-life experience, education around cultural expectations, and enhances resumes and work readiness. By fostering local partnerships, we connect migrants with renowned organizations seeking volunteers, facilitating their integration and contribution to a stronger, more vibrant community for all.

Crisis to HOPE Fund

Emergency Stabilization Fund

Hope Has No Borders developed the Crisis to HOPE Fund to provide one-time, immediate, and urgent financial assistance to individuals facing critical needs that cannot be met by other organizations or social connections. The focus of these funds is to allow a flexible and immediate response to individuals in order for them to maintain stability in essential areas of life such as work, shelter, medical care, and transportation. If applicable, up to 6 hours of dedicated case management support will be approved along with award.

The Crisis to HOPE Fund (CHF)  provides essential support, assisting individuals who are confronted with sudden, critical financial challenges in key aspects of life. The CHF program is modeled after the incredible impact of local grassroots support efforts- which proved that individualized, responsive, and preventative work can infuse HOPE in times of crisis.
