Roraima Pérez
Roraima Pérez was born in Caracas, Venezuela, a daughter of a strong fighter and social leader, from whom she learned the fundamental values that have guided her life.
She had a happy childhood alongside four siblings. Although they moved frequently, those experiences gave her the opportunity to socialize with people of different ages, which later became a great strength. She pursued undergraduate studies and earned a degree as a Certified Public Accountant — a career that was a result of great effort as a mother of four, and that brought her great reward. Her children have been, and continue to be, her greatest pride; two of them have also given her the joy of being the grandmother of five precious grandchildren.
From the age of 20, she began to get involved in social work, supporting communities while also developing her professional career. However, over the years, social work began to create conflicts and contradictions with her ideals and political opinions. After emigrating to the United States in search of a better life, Roraima found renewed purpose through her work with Hope Has No Borders, where she contributes to programs that empower immigrants and foster resilience. Grateful for the opportunity to serve, she continues to dedicate her energy to helping others build stability and hope. Together, we extend a helping hand to the community of people who, like her, seek support in times of uncertainty.
